Executive Assistant

Your challenge

In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of secretarial and supporting activities. As a resourceful and assertive Executive Assistant, you will provide high level professional support with enthusiasm and dedication.   

Your responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls;
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings and managing calendars;
  • Organize logistical and travel arrangements for staff and consultants; 
  • Preparing, typing and collating reports, presentations, correspondence and other outgoing documents;
  • Collect, sort, distribute, and prepare mail and courier deliveries;
  • Responsible for correct digital archiving using our document management system;
  • Collating and filing expenses;
  • Assist in bookkeeping , payroll and compilation assignments (i.e. only basic routine);
  • Provide an exceptional client service experience to all colleagues and guests visiting the BDO office;
  • Liaising with relevant organizations (related to office management) and clients;
  • Assist in the organization of various activities such as internal and external events;
  • Oversees small building projects, renovations or refurbishments
  • Coordinates and supervises the activity of the cleaning and maintenance personnel;
  • Management of office supplies;
  • Other administrative duties as required.

Job requirements

  • A completed secretarial degree (at least MBO level 4);        
  • Experienced ability to use standard software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office); 
  • Proficient in English and preferably Dutch both verbally and in writing. 
  • Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
